Barium Stearate

We are offering pure Barium Stearate that works as an efficient heat stabilizer and lubricant for the transparent PVC compounds. Due to this it is used in the manufacturing of PVC Compounds, Rigid PVC Pipes & Cables, PVC Profiles & Flooring, PVC Footwear, Master Batches, etc.It is generally used in conjunction with other stabilizers Cadmium Stearate & Lead Stearate. A combination of Barium, Zinc & Calcium Stearate can be used as a stabilizer in food grade PVC processing.

Storage Precautions

• Store Barium Stearate in well ventilated room away from hot pipes or surfaces.
• Stack Barium Stearate Bags on wooden Planks, upto six bags high and in stacks of not more than 200 Bags.
• Ensure that Barium Stearate Bags are cleared promptly from Rail Yards, Transport, Godowns and Bags are stored in cool place.
• Use Corrosion Resistance Equipment for sampling and processing of Barium Stearate.

Safety Precautions

• Use Hand Gloves and Dust Masks while handling during process.
• In case of Fire, use sand and Inorganic Chemical based Fire Extinguishers only.
