Basic Centrifugal Pump Technical Description The testing stand represents a simple pump circuit that enables various experiments to be performed. Amongst other aspects, the model can be used to demonstrate the analogy between a hydraulic circuit and an electrical circuit. The set-up includes a centrifugal pump, a variable-area flow meter, an electronic differential pressure gauge, a valve inserted in the measuring section, a water tank and other fittings. Annular chambers are used for making pressure measurements in the circuit.
