Basmati rice, Texture :Hard

The word Basmati comes from Hindi language, “ Bas + mati “, meaning ‘Queen of Fragrance’. Basmati variety is grown in foothills of Himalayas and elsewhere in northern regions typacial climatic and soil condition, mainly in Punjab, Harayana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarkahand and northern UP since thousands of years. Basmati rice has typical characteristics like Long grain, perfumy aroma and flavor before cooking, during cooking and after cooking, with good taste, fluffy, slender but non sticky grains after cooking, swells almost double lengthwise. Nowadays it is widely acclaimed and accepted worldwide and premium rice variety.
