Batch type ball mill operates by taking in the material to be grinded via the inlet port into the rotary drum. Before the rotary drum begins to rotate the ports are closed. Then the material starts to mix and grind in the drum as it rotates. Once the process is complete the ball mill stops and the processed material is gathered via the outlet port.
