Cofimco also manufactures drive shafts and bearing blocks for wet and dry application since many years. For both applications are available anti-reverse. For Air coolers and air cooled steam condensers application, steel drive shafts and bearing blocks are based on either COFIMCO design or according to the drawingspecification provided by the customer.
Composite Drive shafts
After many years of R&D a composite driveshaft was developed as a direct response to industry demand for greater performance and high efficiency. Composite material protected against driveline deterioration from corrosion to guarantee a longer life with a very low maintenance cost.
All the Cofimco drive shafts are dynamically balanced and completed with a durable UV Resistant Coating.
Studied for wet cooling tower application, composite drive shafts with SS coupling flanges are available up to 4.5 m (DBSE) and for a power transmission up to 180 kw at 1500 rpm.
