Contact SupplierBelt Type Oil Skimmer
A Belt Type Oil Skimmer is a mechanical oil-removal device designed to efficiently separate and collect floating oil, grease, and other hydrocarbons from the surface of water or coolant tanks. It operates using a continuous loop belt made of oil-attracting (oleophilic) material that rotates through the liquid surface, collects the floating oil, and removes it using wiper blades.
The system is highly effective for removing tramp oil from machine coolant, oily wastewater, effluent treatment plants (ETPs), and industrial process tanks, helping extend coolant life, reduce bacterial growth, and improve downstream treatment efficiency.
Key FeaturesOleophilic Belt Material:
The belt selectively attracts oil while rejecting water, ensuring high oil recovery with minimal water drag.
Continuous Operation:
The rotating belt lifts oil to the skimmer head, where scraper blades efficiently remove and discharge it.
Durable Construction:
Available in SS304, MS powder-coated, or customized materials for corrosive environments.
Adjustable Belt Length:
Suitable for tanks, pits, sumps, and coolant reservoirs of varying depths.
Low Maintenance:
Simple design with minimal moving parts ensures reliable and long-term operation.
Energy Efficient:
Operates with low power consumption, making it ideal for continuous use.
