Benidipine (INN), also known as Benidipinum or benidipine hydrochloride, is a dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). It is a triple L-, T-, and N- type calcium channel blocker. It is reno- and cardioprotective.
Biological Activity : Orally active antihypertensive agent which displays a wide range of activities in vitro and in vivo. Inhibits L-, N- and T-type Ca2 channels. Also inhibits aldosterone-induced mineralocorticoid receptor activation. Exhibits cardioprotective and antiartherosclerotic effects.Technical Data.
