Bentonite Is a clay which belongs to smectite family. it is a finely-grained rock composed mainly of montmorillonite minerals. There are two types of bentonite – sodium bentonite (high swelling, gelling and thermal durability) and calcium bentonite (more commonly available worldwide but with less swelling). Bentonite is mainly used in Manufacturing of paints, Construction & Civil Engineering, Drilling and etc.
