BIFMA is a not-for-profit organisation that develops voluntary product and industry standards that support safe, healthy and sustainable environments; publishes key industry statistics; and facilitates meaningful dialogue and education to support the industry BIFMA certification is a voluntary standard for office & institutional furniture manufacturers. This standard establishes measurable criteria for different levels of achievement and performance for manufacturers at different stages. Furniture manufacturers that achieve BIFMA certification demonstrate to the marketplace that their products, manufacturing facilities and company policies have met stringent third-party sustainability requirements.
