Biodiesel, Packaging Type : Tanker

Biodiesel is fatty acid methyl ester (FAME) produced by Trans esterification of vegetable oils and fats. In this process the vegetable oil is treated with an acid catalyst followed by Tran’s esterification of the triglycerides by alcohol with the help of alkaline catalyst enzyme.Biodiesel can be used as such as an alternate fuel without any change in engine. As of now we are planning only for 5 to 20% of blend of biodiesel in petroleum fuels.
