Biogas Power Plant

Biogas plants provide multiple benefits at the household, local, national, and international level. These benefits can be classified according to their impact on energy security, employment, environment and poverty. It is estimated that through anaerobic treatment of animal waste and energy use of the methane produced, about 13.24 million tons of CH4 emission can be avoided worldwide per year. India alone can produce power of about 17,000 MW using biogas. This is about 10% of the total electricity installed capacity in India. Our extensive experience in sewage, landfill and biogas technology can be applied to full effect when integrated with co-generation systems into the digestion process.
