These are intended for i) Hemiarthroplasty for patients with massive acetabular deficiencies which do not permit secure fixation of the acetabular component, ii) Hip instability caused by a deficiency of the abductors is a relative indication and iii) Patient with no abductor musculature. Bipolar Hip Prosthesis implant provides added stability against dislocation. The Bipolar Hip Prosthesis is available in different head sizes to fit accurately in acetabulum.
