Description:

•     Sodium metabisulphite is marketed under the brand Birlasulf Sodium Metabisulphite (Birlasulf SM).
•     Sodium metabisulphite is manufactured by Aditya Birla Chemicals (Thailand).
•     Sodium Metabisulphite is a free flowing crystalline powder with odour of SO2.
•     Synonyms are Anhydrous Sodium Bisulphite, Sodium  Pyrosulphite, Sodium disulphite
•     Appearance - White free flowing crystals
•     Appearance of 20% Solution - Clear & Colorless or Pale yellow.

Standard Packing:

•     25 Kgs Polypropylene Woven/paper bags with heat sealed inner liner.
•     500 Kgs and 1000 Kgs Jumbo Bags

Storage And Handling:

•     Store the product in a cool & and dry place. 
•     It absorbs moisture & oxidizes if container is not kept tightly closed.
•     If heated over 60 degree C, SO2 is evolved, forming Sodium Sulphite.

•     Food Industry as: Preservative (Dehydrated foods, Shrimps, Meat etc), Anti-browning,  Anti-fermentation and Bleaching
•     Photographic Industry for production of developer Solution / Acidizing Fixation Baths.
