Crystalline silicon refers to the crystalline forms of silicon, which can be polycrystalline silicon or monocrystalline. As per BIS Guidelines, it should be manufactured as per the set Indian Standard IS 14286: 2010, and if BIS officials find any violation of guidelines, it will be a punishable offence.
