The Bode Buccal DNA Collector and Bode Buccal 2* are simple, direct collection systems. These devices are designed to:

The collection devices use 100% cotton filter paper that is directly inserted into the subject’s mouth. There is no transfer step required, making for more reliable collections than those requiring that extra step.
Bode Buccal DNA Collector
Both the Bode Buccal DNA Collector and the Bode Buccal 2 are unique, one-step collection devices designed to maximize the amount of DNA collected and recovered from buccal samples. It is compatible with most chemistries, including direct amplification.
Both collection devices can be easily converted into storage cassettes that are compatible with automated punching systems.
