The Pillar SY is specially designed for safety purposes and is made of first-class quality steel. The Pillar is raised or lowered by a hydraulic unit. Various manufacturers supply small poles that are used in traffic or car parks. The Pillar’s construction is intended for heavy-duty use. It provides the perfect solution for the access control of locations requiring high-security measures, such as embassies, government offices, palaces and banks.

The fastraised, fast-lowered principle not only allows the Pillar SY to block entrances and roads, but also provides protection against efforts to ram doors and windows. Although the Pillar is non-intimidating (it is a less aggressive means of protection than, for instance, the Road-Blocker or Tyre-Killer), there isn’t the slightest doubt about the degree of protection it provides. The Pillar SY has a standard height of 900 mm above ground level. It comes in red and white, but can be adapted to the client’s wishes.
