Bond Strength Tester

Presto’s Peel Adhesion/Bond/Seal tester is used to calculate the permanence of the adhesion ability of self adhesive force sensitive products. The adhesion strength of a product is defined as the pressure required for separating a coated substance, which has been applied to normal test plate under specified circumstances, from another plate placed at a specified angle with predetermined velocity. The product is designed and manufactured as per international standards.

The Peel strength tester is ideal for measuring tear, peel and other frictional properties of adhesives, laminates, glues, fabrics, packaging, coatings, tapes, labels, and other products components and materials. With the seal/bond strength testing instrument, one can accurately measure the average peel strength load over a specific distance per unit width of adhesive. The machine provides a constant rate of extension, constant rate f load control which allows you to perform numerous peel and seal tests with a single machine.The Peel strength tester is equipped with two grips. To perform the test procedure, a sample with a gum coated material is placed between the grips under specified test conditions. The upper grip of the machine is kept fixed while the lower grip move in  a downward direction to check the adhesion strength of the coated substance with specified speed.
