Automatic traffic or boom barriers are essentially designed for fast transit spaces and entrances; typical applications being public car parks, toll gates, hospitals and similar areas. Arka Anand Automation has a number of products and solutions for these applications, from the Gard series. Stainless steel construction – if required AISI 304 stainless steel construction is provided in the G4001 model for saline or corrosive atmosphere

230 V Electronics allows for significant benefits – with only 2 seconds to clear the opening for effective transit management, the hold to run command aligning with safety standards and self – learning of the radio code from transmitter to the receiver.

Backup battery are put to use automatically by the electronic that detects power failure

Speed of maneuver is adjustable due to the electronics

Intensive use is facilitated by the low voltage gear motor

Obstacle detection is feasible on a continuous basis allowing for stopping or reversing movement on identifying an obstacle in the path through photocell. The feature is available at additional cost.
