Initially we started our company in 1982 by the name ‘Gripwell Gum Tapes’. We initially manufactured only paper gum tapes and our factory was situated in Porur. Later in 2005 we changed our name to ‘Gripwell Tapes Private Limed’ and began to manufacture many products such as Surface Protection Tapes, Bopp Self Adhesive Tapes, Bopp Self Adhesive Printed Tapes, Bopp Self Adhesive Jumbo Rolls and Paper Gum Tapes as per the customers need. In 2015, we changed our company name to ‘Gripwell Multi Tech Private Limited’ and began manufacturing plastic product such as plastic cover and plastic chairs. Now, we have a largest state of Art manufacturing facility in Redhills, Chennai, to produce a wide range of quality products for the customers using advance technology, latest machinery and experience in this field.
To ensure that our products meet rigid standards as demanded by our customers, we have invested in the latest machinery and current state of art technology for production and quality checking. Our factory is equipped with high intense machinery such as coating machines with pneumatically controlled thermal fluid drying system and inline rotogravure printing, high-speed slitter, re-winder machines with the latest features like air brake & auto turret system for manufacturing adhesive tape. We also have heavy duty plastic scrap grinding and extruder machines to process plastic scrap. We invested in advance plastic bag making machineries and latest injection moulding machine to manufacture plastic items. This ensures us to produce more products in a short period of time and we also update our machinery to the latest technology to improve our standards regularly.
