what is boswellin p.e.?
boswellin’s original name is xun lu which is a kind of hardened resin of burseraceae.
It’s pinyin - ruxiang becuase its shape like a nipple. Boswellin was used into perfume and medicine.
Main contents of boswellin extract is dissociation α-boswellic acid , dissociation β- boswellic acid , and olibanoresene. Resin maily contain sugar and acid salts of calcium and magnesium salts,bassorin,naphtha etc.
Boswellin extract has functions of treating disease like qi and blood stagnation, heart & stomach,ulcerative carbuncle,injuries from falls,dysmenorrhea, lumbago due to blood stasis. It could lumbago due to blood stasis,detumescence and promoting granulation.
