The mango being the chief commercial fruit of Gujarat state occupies the highest area as compared to all other fruits. The most famous types of mangoes available in Gujarat are Alphanso, Kesar, Rajapuri, Totapuri, Dasehri, Langra, Neelum, Badam, Jamadar and Vanraj. The three commercial cultivars Alphanso, Kesar and Rajapuri are grown in different agro – climatic zones of the Gujarat state.
