The SA‐2000 Dual Airline Back Mount adapter kit is used in conjunction with a 3M tight fitting full face pieces (6000, 6000DIN, and 7800S series) or half mask respirators (7500 series and 6000 series) and supplied air hose to create a slight positive pressure atmosphere. The slight positive pressure helps to prevent airborne contaminants from entering the tight fitting face piece.
The SA‐2000 kit includes the SA‐2500 breathing tube. This breathing tube splits into two branches and connects with a bayonet type connection to each side of the tight fitting face piece. This “back mount” tube is designed to go behind the users head and hang down the back.
