Broad Beans

Broad beans, also known as the Vicia faba, fava bean, field bean, bell bean, or tic bean, is a species of bean (Fabaceae) native to north Africa and southwest Asia, and extensively cultivated elsewhere. Broad beans contain notable levels of vitamin A and C as well as phosphorous and iron. They are also rich in protein and high in fibre. They contain no cholesterol and are low in fat.
