Broken Bag Detector

The Series SPMTX Suspended Particulate monitor Transmitter is a reliable dust collector emissions monitor and leak detector. The loop powered design is ideal for direct connection to existing PLCs or other bag house diagnostic control systems. Adjustable linear output scaling enables trending both the baseline emissions and the high peak emissions that are caused by filter cleaning cycles and developing leaks. Observation of both baseline and peaks is essential to setting proper alarms. The SPMTX employs a field-proven combination of induction and protected-probe technologies. As particles flow near and around the probe, minute currents are dynamically induced into the probe(Tribo Electric Charge).The signal is processed into an absolute output relative to the amount of particulate and thus leakage. Protective-layers over probe work in combination with induction-sensing to ensure reliable operation with all types of particulate including moist powder sand highly conductive dusts. Maintenance is minimal and there is no need for an air purge
