A Bucket Elevator is a vertical material handling system used to transport bulk materials (powder, granules, or lumps) from a lower level to a higher level efficiently. It consists of a series of buckets attached to a belt or chain that rotates around pulleys, lifting materials in a continuous flow.

• Buckets: Carry the material (made of steel, plastic, or nylon)
• Belt or Chain: Moves the buckets vertically
• Head Section: Top part containing the drive motor and pulley
• Boot Section: Bottom part where material is loaded
• Casing: Encloses the system for safety and dust control
• Drive Motor & Gearbox: Provides motion to the system

Material is fed into the boot section, where buckets scoop it up. As the belt or chain moves upward, the buckets carry the material to the head section, where it is discharged by centrifugal force or gravity into a chute. The empty buckets then return to the bottom for continuous operation.
