Explosion of bulk cement tank car and its solution
in view of the causes of explosion accidents of bulk cement tank cars, manufacturers and designers should first consider how to improve the safety of bulk cement tank cars themselves. The author thinks that improving the safety of bulk cement tank car can be done from the following aspects, and its solution measures are as follows:
(1) the strength of tank: the steel produced by the regular factory should be avoided in the production process, and the local thinning of the plate should be avoided. After the completion of the production, the tank will be pressurized test.
(2) install two sets of setting pressure (editor note: setting pressure is the opening pressure that the safety valve is set in cold test) different safety valve, prevent safety valve repeatedly action damage, one set pressure is higher than the maximum working pressure, and discharge capacity is as large as possible.
(3) for the use of the gas source of the bulk cement semi trailer, it is possible to rationally design the air source power device, so that the maximum pressure generated by the maximum power can not exceed the maximum load pressure of the tank.
(4) using the pressure release type material cover, the maximum pressure of the material cover is lower than the maximum load pressure of the tank, and when the pressure in the tank exceeds the maximum pressure value of the material cover, the cover can automatically discharge and reduce the pressure.
(5) increase the requirement of transport medium to avoid dust explosion when transporting combustible powder material.
