It is designed to meet the requirements of USP Standards suitable for Method-I & Method -II.It can hold two cylinders, capacity : 50 ml and 250 ml. The mechanism provides simultaneously rotating and tapping motion to the cylinders for packing  the sample under test evently and uniformly together.

The Bulk density apparatus is equipped with Microcomputer Based 'Digital Display' System. The "TOUCH SWITCHES" are provided on the front panel of the apparatus for setting total number of strokes to the glass cylinders. Each stroke of the cylinder is displayed on the "Digital Display' window on the panel. The Up and down movement of the cylinders stop automatically at the Pre-set number and at the same time an audible Alarm sounds indicating the test is over. The advantage of Micro-Computer based Digital Display over the Old type model with the mechanical Timer is that "Digital Display" of total strokes gives accurate and exact number of Strokes given to the cylinders.
