Bushes and Bearings

Carbon/graphite bushes & bearings are made in special grades beyond the limits of other materials. These are self lubricants and has a polishing effect upon the shaft against which it rubs, as such the wear rate is low. Also these can run dry and suitable for condition where oil contamination is avoided. These are also unaffected by acids & alkalies and suitable for use up to high temperatures. Carbon impregnated bush bearings in two halves especially developed for stokers of boiler, replaced the cast iron bushes gives most satisfactory result, Because of dry running & high lubricant properties.
