A Butterfly Valve is a flow control device that incorporates a rotational disk to control the flowing media in a process. The disk is always in the passageway, but because it is relatively thin, it offers little resistance to flow.
Early use of Butterfly Valves focused on water applications, but new designs and component materials have allowed them to be utilized in growing industrial fluid applications. Presently, butterfly valves can be found in almost every chemical plant handling a variety of diverse fluids.
The Butterfly Valves can be used for on-off service or modulating service. Actuation is typically achieved either manually (handle, wrench, gear operator) or through an external power source to cycle the valve automatically.

Type of Valves: Flanged & Wafer Type.
Operation: Manual, Gear Operated or Motorized.

H Sarker & Company Valves (P) Ltd. was established in 1969 by Late Mr. Haran Chandra Sarker formerly known as H Sarker & Company. They were the dedicated suppliers to Macneill & Barry Ltd. owners of 'Kilburn' brand. Over a period of time Macneill & Barry Ltd. went out of the valve business and H Sarker & Company took over independent operations. The company manufactures various types of valves and sluice gates which have been installed in pipe lines and industrial area in and around India. The valves are widely used in Water Supply, Petroleum & Petrochemical Industry, Chemical Industry, Thermal & Hydel Power Generation, Environmental Engineering and Steel Plants. At H Sarker & Company, we have an integrated valve manufacturing facility. We have our own foundry, machine shop, test benches and to support our manufacturing we have a CAD design department. The company with its policy of quality first, moved to get BIS approvals and got the ISI mark in 1987 for sluice valves and non-return valves.

In 2004 H Sarker & Company went through the quality audit of Bureau Veritas for quality management system and was accredited with ISO:9001:2000, since then the company has qualified successive quality audit and has maintained its ISO accreditations.
