The test stand is designed for carrying out test procedures on cabin pressure outflow valves. Vacuum is applied to the smaller pressure vessel during certain testing and when larger volume is required a valve is opened to increase test chamber volume. Vacuum is applied by parallel 50 HP vacuum pumps.
