Calamus Essential Oil

Calamus Oil composed mainly of some major compounds like α- and β-pinene, α-terpineol, β-caryophyllene, linalool, α-bisabolol, α-asarone, β-asarone. Extraction: Calamus Oil is extracted by steam distillation. The rhizome is separated from the leaves and dried in shade. The oil is either extracted from fresh roots or unpeeled dried roots. Calamus Oil has a strong characteristic odour and is Yellowish to brownish coloured liquid.
