Calcite is a natural form of calcium carbonate widely used in Plastics, Paints and Rubber as a filter due to its high dispersibility, low oil absorption, higher impact strength, smooth surface finish, easy processing and excellent dimensional stability. Effects on properties of polymers :

  • Increase in dimensional stability reduces creep resistance
