Calvit-A is effective to prevent osteoporosis. Hence, it increases the life of bones. The formula improves negative calcium balance. It also decreases bone fracture and bone loss rate. It increases bone mineralization. Calvit-A contains alfacalcidol that gives a better option than vitamin D therapy. Plasma parathyroid hormone is also responsible for the bone loss but calvit-A reduces its amount.
