Capillary Tube Apparatus, For Laboratory

For demonstration of relationship between capillary pressure and the bore diameter of capillary tube. The apparatus comprises of a metal frame, the base of which forms a trough 115 x 40 x 10 mm. The upper part of the frame supports six capillary tubes, each of a different bore, their lower ends resting in the bottom trough. The trough is filled with water and the difference in heights of the resulting columns of water in the tube is readily apparent. Overall height of the frame 90 mm, length of capillary tube 150 mm.
