Capivast (Capivasertib), generic TRUQAP is a prescription medicine used to treat treatment of adult patients with hormone receptor (HR)-positive, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative, locally advanced or metastatic breast cancer harboring one or more PIK3CA, AKT1, or PTEN alterations. This indication applies to patients who have experienced disease progression on at least one endocrine-based therapy in the metastatic setting or recurrence within 12 months of completing adjuvant therapy.
