The largest fabrication of Carbon Steel Sheets known to-date is being thin sheet lined for exposure in a utility flue-gas desulfurization plant. Based on a field in Carbon Steel Coils, corrosion evaluation was selected as the preferred material of construction for the off-gas quench elbow of an industrial chlorinated organics rotary kiln incinerator. CS Plates is a standard industrial material that provides excellent resistance to natural corrosion, intergranular attack, pitting and crevice corrosion and stress corrosion resistance.
