Seamless Carbon Steel Pipes, also known as "straight seam" are most often used in the construction industry for structural or load-bearing purposes above the ground. Carbon Steel Pipes are also used in other industries such as trucking, shipping, and farm equipment.
Seamless Steel Pipe (SMLS) is made from a solid round steel 'billet' which is heated and then pushed or pulled over a form until the steel is shaped into a hollow tube. Once the Seamless Carbon Steel Pipe manufacturing process is finished, it is distributed in dimensional and wall thickness specifications from 1/2 inch OD. to 36 inch (OD) Outer Diameter.
