EN-CMC-LV is a technical grade Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose a short chain colloid used in water base mud systems to water loss control. It is a powder which is easily dispersible in the drilling fluid.
The low viscosity product EN-CMC-LV meets OCMA specifications DFCP-2 as a filtrate reducing agent.
Application :
EN-CMC-LV is effective fluid loss control agent in most water base mud systems.
EN-CMC LV is thermo-stable upto 300 Deg F
Recommended Treatment :
For fluid loss control in sea and salt muds concentration between 0.5 to 2.0 ppb of EN-CMC-LV is recommended. A concentration between 0.5 to 0.8 ppb of is recommended for developing viscosity.
