What is Careprost Eye?

• Careprost Eye Drops is used for Lengthening eyelashes, Glaucoma, Ocular hypertension and other conditions. Careprost Eye Drops may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
• Careprost Eye Drops contains Bimatoprost as an active ingredient.
• Careprost Eye Drops works by increasing flow of fluids out of eye and decreasing pressure.

Uses : Careprost Eye Drops is used for the treatment, control, prevention, & improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms.

• Lengthening eyelashes
• Glaucoma
• Ocular hypertension

Side Effects : The following is a list of possible side-effects that may occur from all constituting ingredients of Careprost Eye Drops. This is not a comprehensive list. These side-effects are possible, but do not always occur. Some of the side-effects may be rare but serious. Consult your doctor if you observe any of the following side-effects, especially if they do not go away.

• Conjunctival hyperemia
• Eyelash growth
• Itchy or burning eyes
• Visual disturbance
• Pigmentation of the periocular skin
• Eyelash or iris darkening
• Watery eyes
• Light sensitivity
• Superficial punctate keratitis
• Redness around the eyes 

Precautions & How to Use : Before using Careprost Eye Drops, inform your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (e.g. vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions (e.g. pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc.). Some health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug. Take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert. Dosage is based on your condition. Tell your doctor if your condition persists or worsens. Important counseling points are listed below.

• Aphakic patients
• Do not touch the dropper to any surface
• Drops not to be used at the same time as contact lenses
• Eye color may change
• Pre-existing eye inflammation
• Remove contact lenses before using this medication; they can be put in 15 minutes after the medication is applied
• Risk factors for macular edema
• Risk of bacterial infection
• This medication has a possibility of darkening your eye color or your eyelashes
