    Cartridge Heaters (Low Density)

Low Density Cartridge Heaters are made of helically wound nickel chrome resistance wire evenly stretched and placed in ceramic insulators. The element assembly is inserted into Brass / SS 304 tube. High grade MgO powder is filled in the remaining space inside the ceramic insulator to increase thermal conductivity, dielectric strength and heater life.

    Features
    • Nickel Chrome resistance wire
    • Maximum operating temperature 250oC for Brass and 400oC for SS 304
    • Maximum surface load 4 watts / cm2
    • Available from dia. 8 mm to dia. 45 mm and length 50 mm to 3000 mm.

    Applications
    • Plastic Processing Machinery
    • Moulds and Dies
    • Hot Runner Bushings
    • Food Processing Machinery
    • Packaging Machinery
    • Medical Equipment's
    • Shoe Machinery

    When ordering please specify
    • Dia. and length of the heater
    • Wattage and Voltage
    • Type of terminal
    • Drawing for special type configuration.

    Cartridge Heaters (High Density)
High Density Cartridge Heaters are made of nickel chromium resistance wire wound on MgO care. The element assembly is inserted into chrome nickel steel tube centrally and filled with MgO powder. It is then compacted into a solid mass by Swaging. Swaging increases thermal conductivity, dielectric strength and heater life.

    Features
    • Nickel Chrome resistance wire
    • Available with inbuilt thermocouple 'J' or 'K'
    • Maximum sheath temperature 800oC
    • Rugged and durable construction
    • Available as per customer's specifications

    Applications
    • Plastic processing machinery
    • Moulds and dies
    • Hot stamping
    • Show machinery
    • Food processing machinery
    • Packing equipment's
    • Heating gases and liquids
    • Medical equipment's.
