A Cartridge Filter Housing is a pressure vessel designed to hold one or multiple filter cartridges for the removal of suspended solids, turbidity, fine particles, and microbial contaminants from water and process fluids. It is commonly used as a pre-filtration or polishing step in water treatment systems to protect downstream equipment such as RO membranes, UV systems, pumps, and process pipelines.
The housing is designed to accommodate various cartridge types—such as PP spun, melt-blown, pleated, activated carbon, or string-wound cartridges—in sizes typically ranging from 10”, 20”, 30”, to 40” length. It ensures safe and leak-free filtration while maintaining high flow rates and low pressure drop.
