Cashew, Color : White

Cashew is very commonly used in Indian cuisine. The nut can be used whole for garnishing sweets or curries, or ground into a paste that forms a base of sauces for curries (eg.Korma), or some sweets. They have lovely nutty and buttery flavour. They are nice crunchy and very moreish.Because of their high level of MUFA they are healthy food for heart patients. Copper contained in this, helps in iron utilization. High level of magnesium ensures healthy bones, helps to lower blood pressure and prevent heart attacks.
