Description :
CNSL is a by-product of Cashew Nut Industry.
� It is a pericarp fluid and is extracted as oil from cashew nut shell.
� CNSL is a natural product with no chemicals.
� CNSL occurs in the nut, mainly around 90% as anacardic acid and around 10% as cardol.
Application :
� CNSL is potential raw material for systhenis of water-resistant resins and polymers.
� Primarily used as raw material for CNSL liquid resin, PF resin and Cashew Friction Dust (FD) for Automobile Break linings.
� CNSL is also used for manufacture of paint and varnishes, Epoxy resins and oil soluble resins, Surface active agent, synthetic Rubber and wax compounding, Foundry resins etc.
