The THR880i intrinsically safe TETRA hand portable radio provides the user with the highest ergonomics and ease of use for demanding fieldwork. The radio side with just the necessary controls is optimised for reliable voice communication while the phone side features a full alphanumeric keypad and colour display.
The THR880i Ex has IP55 class protection against splash water and dust, and its mechanical construction makes it resistant to physical exposure. Compliant with the II 2G Ex ib IIC T4 certificate (ATEX Directive 949CE), the THR880i Ex is intrinsically safe and suitable for use in gaseous environments. Voice feedback guides and confirms communications, allowing users to focus on their tasks. Featuring an integrated GPS receiver, the THR880i Ex radio allows the radio users to send their position information e.g. in case of emergency with the possibility of being tracked over the TETRA network.
