Cast Iron Chilled Rolls

Chilled Iron Rams (Pistons) are chilled casted to get 100% Scratch Proof surface for longer life of Hydraulic Seals. The surface of the Rams is hard enough to withstand almost any climate and yet smooth on seals for long life. Chilled Rams are free from all defects like sand fusion, blow holes, piping & cracks etc. We are manufactured Chilled Rams are having protected centres & having up to 0.01 micron finish These Rams are capable to bear external specific pressures. The hard and grinding mirror polished surface maintains the high hydraulic oil pressure together with the circumstantial seals. Chilled Iron Rams (Pistons)take the pressure of the hydraulic fluid on one side and pass them on to the forming tools on the other side for these applications; Chilled Cast Iron or Chilled Spheroidal Cast Iron have proven their reliability for decades.
