Casting Rings

Piston rings & transmission Sealing rings are produced by APEX under one roof from Foundry to finished product. Cast iron material is produced by APEX in its own foundry using induction furnaces controlling the melting Parameters and allowing the production of a wide variety of first class alloyed material. Gray cast Piston Rings are machined from the single formed sand casting. Regular Iron, a prelatic medium phosphorous Gray iron is the most common basic material for piston rings due to its inherent wear resistance, good mach inability and relatively low cost. The grades of alloyed Gray cast iron heat treated to the proper hardness and will the necessary martenistic micro structure and higher physical properties, which are generally used for a Top Ring.
