Our solar street lights are built from the following three components :

• Solar Panel – A solar panel converts the solar energy into electricity and charges the battery.
• Battery – The battery is charged by the solar panel during the day and provides power to the LED bulb during the night.
• LED Bulb – An LED is the mostly preferred bulb for a solar street light as it produces much higher while consuming the lowest power.

Patra Global has previously installed 400 units of solar street lights in the Sundarbans of West Bengal. The street lights have enlightened a long stretch of street that was previously under darkness. They are fully functional and have been running without any complaint.
Patra Global has also installed 100 units of solar street lights in Uttar Dinajpur district of West Bengal. They have been working well and received a quite a few positive feedback from the locals.
