Cefixime Tablet, Potassium Clavulanate Tablet

We are offering cefixime, potassium clavulanate tablets 325mg. Cefixime is a semisynthetic, oral, third generation cephalosporin antibiotic.
it is effective against gram positive, gram negative and anaerobic bacteria including beta-lactamase producing strains.
it acts by inhibition of bacterial cell-wall synthesis.
clavulanic acid is a beta lactamase inhibitor produced by streptomyces clavuligerus.
clavulanic acid is an irreversible inhibitor of intracellular and extracellular β-lactamases.
the combination of cefixime & clavulanic acid is useful in treatment of bacterial infections caused by beta lactam resistant strains.
this combination can be also used as second line therapy where cefixime alone is not useful to show its bactericidal effect.
this combination is useful in treatment of:
1) uncomplicated urinary tract infection
2) otitis media
3) bronchitis
4) pharyngitis, tonsilitis
5) uncomplicated gonorrhea.
