Ceftriaxone Tazobactam Injection, For Clinical, Hospital, Form : Liquid

Ceftriaxone Tazobactam Injection is formulated to conquer stubborn pathogens. The extensively recommended Ceftriaxone Tazobactam Injection has unmatched stability to beta-lactamases. Ceftriaxone 1000 mg / 500 mg / 250 mg + Tazobactam 125 mg / 62.5 mg / 31.25 mg Injection is meant for Im / IV use.
The Combined Attack of Two Synergistic Antibacterials In management of severe & Resistant infections :

• Promises synergistic action of bactericidal ceftriaxone and betalactamase inhibitor Tazobactam

Dosage And Administration :

• Pediatric Patients  : Serious infections, 50-75 mg/kg (in terms of ceftriaxone) given in divided doses every 12 hours. The total daily dose should not exceed 2 gm (in terms of ceftriaxone). For the treatment of acute bacterial otitis media, a single 50 mg/kg IM (not to exceed 1 gram)
• Adults  : 1000/125 mg of ceftriaxone / tazobactam OD (or in equally divided doses BID) total daily dose should not exceed 4 gm (in terms of ceftriaxone). For pre-operative use / surgical prophylaxis, 1gm I.V administered ½ to 2 hours before surgery for 4-14 days by deep IM, or slow IV
