avighna claritec™ offers full half structural bridges cum walkway and hand rails spanning over the outer diameter of the tank.
Features of centrally driven clarifiers thickeners
• centre cage (feed well) is suspended into the tank. The diameter of the centre cage is determined according to the diameter of the tank.
• rake arm mechanism and drives are supported by structural bridge.
• drive mechanism is selected according to the application and torque required.
• drive arrangement is comprised of:
1. drive (act-dh act-s) mechanism
2. worm reducer (make: as per client requirement)
3. chain drive with guard
4. motor (make: as per client requirement)
• drives are normally selected to achieve a rake arm tip speed of 2.5 m min, or as requested by the client.
• drive head powers a vertical centre shaft carrying the rake arms.
• the settled solids are scrapped by means of a rake arm (scraper) through the central sludge pocket and clear overflow is collected in a peripheral launder.
• in thickeners, picket fences are provided along with the rake arm.
